Spencer Schold
About
Spencer Schold is a Charlotte native. As a graduate of University of Georgia School of Law, she is a fiercely passionate senior attorney. Spencer completed her undergraduate studies with honors at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she double-majored in Communication Studies and American Indian Studies, with a minor in Philosophy. During law school, she gained valuable experience working with UGA Law’s Family Violence Clinic in Athens, Georgia. There, Spencer assisted survivors of domestic violence in obtaining protective orders. Additionally, she has contributed to Safe Alliance’s Legal Representation Project in Charlotte. She was actively involved in Moot Court and Mock Trial, competing in regional and national tournaments.
Spencer has dedicated over 13 years to supporting survivors of domestic violence and families in crisis. Her professional journey includes roles as an Assistant District Attorney, working at a boutique family law firm in Raleigh, and serving as a Domestic Violence Staff Attorney for Legal Aid of North Carolina. Her passion for advocacy truly shines in the courtroom, where she strives to make the justice system more accessible and equitable for all. Spencer's commitment to family law stems from a deep desire to help families in crisis and to be a steadfast advocate for them within the legal system. Family is the backbone of Spencer's life, and she understands its complexities.
Outside of work, Spencer is happily married to her husband, whom she has known since middle school. Together, they enjoy spending their time exploring new places, biking, and gardening with their wonderful child and two dogs, a Havanese and a Poodle/Bichon mix.
