Lori is currently enrolled at Ottawa University, where she is majoring in Management and Organizational Development. With over 15 years of experience as a paralegal, her career began in 2001 at a local law firm, where she first handled a challenging case involving a woman coping with her husband’s severe brain injury. This experience not only deepened her compassion but also solidified her desire to support people during their most difficult times. After his passing, Lori attended his funeral. The heartfelt gratitude expressed by his wife at the funeral profoundly influenced Lori, inspiring her to treat every client with the empathy she would hope to receive. This clearly reflects her commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of others. 

Family holds a central place in Lori’s life. Having faced the loss of many loved ones, she has come to cherish the importance of family bonds even more. Her two daughters and two granddaughters bring her immense joy and fulfillment, and are the most important part of her life.

When she’s not working or studying, Lori enjoys a variety of activities, including fishing, traveling, attending comedy shows and concerts, white-water rafting, and exploring fun centers in Raleigh with her granddaughters. Her diverse interests reflect her vibrant spirit and desire to embrace life to the fullest.
